"OUR" shipping rates: Plaese note that the rates charged on our website are calculated by, and set by the SHIPPING COMPANIES AND NOT FRED'S MUSIC & BBQ. "They" set the rates, and charge US (or you for that matter) the shipping. Shipping on small packages often hit the "minimum charge" and might therefore be expensive in relation to the cost of the item. This is unavoidable ..it just IS and until such time as I can buy a bunch of trucks and airplanes, we are at the mercy of Fedex, UPS or the United States Postal Service. So if you think the rates are high, please blame the parties that are actually charging the shipping as it is not us. Thank you for understanding.
