REGISTER CLICK HERE What is "EggFest"?: The Eggest is a gathering of the Big Green Egg owners, admirers, and dedicated Egg-Chefs (Eggheads). Its a chance to make new friends, eat some of the best food you will ever taste, learn some new grilling and smoking tricks,.... a big Egghead party! The Big Green Egg is the star of the show and we will have dozens of brand new Big Green Eggs set up for those that want to show off their cooking skills as well as a few Green Eggs set up for demonstration and for potential new Eggheads to check out. If you own a Big Green Egg or not, this is the perfect opportunity to come out and taste just how incredible (inFredible?) the food is when "Egg'ed". Big Green Egg sales reps and other "Eggsperts" will be on hand to demonstrate the capabilities of this great cooker. This is a culinary experience you will not forget!
Who will be there : Many Eggheads from the Egghead forum will be in attendance as well as Fred and his staff, many local Eggheads and Egg users, and perhaps some special guests. There will also be some "newbies" and some "potential newbies" checking out the Egg and all that it has to offer. One thing for sure...the EGG (the star of the show) will be in attendance
Where will the Eggs and Eggheads be? (The Eggfest location!): At our facility at 212-214 W. Lancaster Avenue, Shillington, Pa. 19607
Parking - If you are cooking , enter the Car lot adjacent to our "midway" and you might be able to park right there ..if not, unload and park somewhere else ...behiind the music store, behind the Pizza Hut (next to our property ) or somewhere in beautiful downtown Shillington !

What to Bring: Fred's Music & Tastylicks BBQ Supply will supply Big Green Eggs with dual funtion metal tops and nest, spice rub sample packs for cook's use, bags of charcoal, fire starters, grill grippers, and soft drinks. The cooks will bring the food they plan on cooking along with any cleaning supplies, cooking/grilling tools they might need. (cutting boards, spatula and tongs, v-racks, thermometers, pizza stones, mitts, aprons, smoking wood chips, knifes, coolers, ice / etc.) You may want to bring along a folding chair or chairs. If you would like to bring your own Egg to cook on please feel free to do so. The more the merrier.
Admission : This is a private affair and reservation is required.
Door Prizes / etc. : We will have fun and special gifts and promotional items supplied by FMS&BBQ and our suppliers.
DEMO EGG PURCHASES: This is the perfect time for a new Egg owner to purchase their first Big Green Egg or for a current owner to pick up another at a discount. Demo Eggs will typically include a Large or XL Big Green Egg, with Nest, Dual Function Metal Top, Ceramic Cap, Instructional DVD, Cookbook, Full Warranty, Professionally assembled and tweaked by our staff. All demo eggs will be brand new but cooked on at the Eggfest. All Demo Eggs must be paid for at time of reservation and picked up on July 23, 2011 at our facility in Shillington between 4 and 5PM.

My first EggFest - over and done! What a blast! Really have to give comps to Fred, Toby and the rest of the crew. The entire event ran like it was on greased rails. I don't know that there was anything that happened that wasn't planned. Just ... wow! Very well done, indeed.

Hi Fred, Vickie and I just wanted to thank you, Toby and the rest your staff for a great fest. Our new egg traveled well and has now joined the other four on the patio. Went to my first Eggfest today, at Fred's place. Right away I could tell it was a good time had by all, but the problem was I hadn't seen the schedule, and I didn't get there until 2:20, with just a bit of time to see what's up before everything started shutting down. Hmmm. Did have a pleasant chat with Fred and a few others, and I plan on getting to more Eggfests, but I gotta remember to get moving earlier in the day. (Dan, Glenmorre, PA)

Also, we are changing the format for our Eggfest. We will not, as we have in the past, invited the general public. This year, we will be having a more intimate, traditional Eggfest with advance registration etc. etc. where we get together and cook for each other and share time with our friends and fellow Eggheads.
