You won’t have to train anybody on the buttons, everybody gets it. The 3:1 optics easily beat the 1:1 competition. The pointed penetration probe folds into the side of the meter for storage. The type K thermocouple gives speedy results.
The simple mode button will easily switch between Max, Min, and °C/°F. The default emissivity setting of 0.95 covers most applications but you can readily change the emissivity by 0.01 increments so you can read virtually any material’s surface. This is a terrific value and it’s fun to use! Scan for immediate surface temperatures or fold-out the probe and get an accurate internal temperature in seconds.
