This one was a tough rub to get right. I really wanted to make a rub with some maple flavor in it. I found that if I put to much maple flavor in the rub then it tasted like candy. If I put to little maple flavor in the rub you could not taste it at all. So I built this rub to have a balance of sweet and spicy with a hint of maple flavor. It is really good! I originally made this one for ribs and pork butts. But a friend of mine put it on some steaks and it was incredible! So you can use it on anything you want!
